DUI Counseling & Substance Abuse
At Estrella Counseling Services we are committed to quality, evidenced based treatment for drug and alcohol issues. We are state licensed for Level I and Level II DUI Screening, Treatment and Education. Our program is designed to challenge individuals to look at the progression of their use and the decisions they made and choose positive alternatives. The goals of our program is to provide information about the physical, emotional, legal and social consequences of alcohol and drug use. Our program is focused on not just abstinence but living a responsible, fulfilling and productive life.
Estrella Counseling Services utilizes proven behavior change curriculum designed to motivate behavior change and develop positive cognitive skills and proactive attitudes in a population that is traditionally resistant to treatment. Program compliance will be tracked and supervised by our treatment staff. Each client will have individualized screening, intake and treatment plan to assess program needs for each individual.
We provide a comprehensive substance abuse evaluation utilizing research based assessments and a thorough one on one screening with a master’s level counselor to determine the most appropriate program.
DUI Alcohol Treatment
We offer education and treatment for alcohol-related issues. We have a Level II 16 hour education program designed to meet the Department of Health curriculum. We also offer Level I treatment which is a minimum 36-hour program. We work with out of state agencies and MVD.
Substance Abuse Counseling
We offer 90 minute group meetings lead by a master’s level therapist with addiction experience. The focus of the group is to learn about addictive cycles and patterns and assist individuals in identifying strategies and motivation to look at sober alternatives. We utilize a cognitive behavioral treatment modality which allows each individual to challenge their thoughts and beliefs and to begin to develop new patterns of thinking related to their use.
This is a 16-24 session program designed to meet the needs of individual who are at risk for relapse after a period of sobriety. The treatment is focused on identifying triggers and warning signs of relapse and to develop a plan and gain the tools necessary to successfully maintain sobriety even in high risk situations. Each individual with the assistance of their counselor will develop their own personal relapse prevention plan.
